Selected to execute a work that was presented to the Solar Energy Research Institute in honor of President Carter's visit on "Sun Day," May 3rd. The piece is the first of a major collection planned by the institute.  Selection of artist was made from seven Colorado artists  who were recommended by either the Colorado Council on Arts and Humanities, or the Denver Art Museum.

Two works were selected by the Colorado Council on Arts and Humanities to be hung in the Joint Budget Committee Hearing Room of the Colorado State Legislature.
