ABOUT THE GALLERY

Perpendicular to the Wind Gallery was a fifteen-month exhibition project of six distinct shows, ranging in length from one to three months.  The gallery afforded me the opportunity to realize a long-time vision of creating a forum for presenting works from different series simultaneously.  The primary focus of the gallery was my own solo shows, but additional artists were periodically included.

Each show had a definite theme and character.  It was my direction and challenge to create a cohesiveness and "conversation" among works of several types in each exhibit.  The works shown were either available for purchase or presented as design options for potential commissioned site-specific works.  

Perpendicular to the Wind Gallery was an intentional limited-time venture which will continue as Perpendicular to the Wind Studio, my  continuous production of  ARTWORK.
