Series #7:  BEDFORD SPONGE WEAVE

      

The works in this series are woven in a structure that enables the fabric to be shaped into flowing, undulating lines.  The structure requires striped imagery to be effective.  Many works in this group combine several varieties of woven fabric panels in one piece.  The difference in weaves creates variety in color effects that enhance the concept.
