Series #12:  CANYONSCAPES
   

The compositions of the Canyonscapes series are painted with acrylic on commercially produced raw silk fabric.  The scenes depict geologic formations  of the Colorado Plateau - canyons, bluffs, mesas, and mountains.  The compositions attempt to capture the visual complexity of the eroding and evolving terrain.  Works are able to be framed making them suitable for damage susceptible locations.
